I couldn't do that even if I wanted to. [How do you forget twenty years of training? It's too hard for him to even imagine.]
The fighting style I use is called Kyotouryuu. It's the only thing I inherited from my father. He's dead now and I want to cherish what he left behind. [Let's not forget about how Shichika was the one who killed his father. Yasuri's are kinda nuts, but it's normal for them to kill each other.]
Maybe I should review each individual attack and look for their weaknesses. It might help...I guess. I'm no good at thinking. You're so much better at it and I'm lucky you're taking time to help me train.
Fixing weaknesses is a bad idea because it leads you to becoming average and, as such, useless. Instead, you should focus on your strengths to the point that your weaknesses are absolutely moot.
The only real problem is that every battle is different. Unless you've fought the opponent before you have no real way of knowing what to expect. I want to be prepared for most cases. Ending things as quickly as possible sounds like a really good solution to this problem.
That means I can say my catch phrase earlier and not have to worry about timing it correctly.

How would it be a bad idea? I'm not really following this at all. Wouldn't you get stronger by fixing your weaknesses?

[That would be going against her orders.]
People can become stronger when they have something to protect. I'm going to strive to be better than average for Togame's sake.
That's another excellent idea. Sion! With more power I can knock my enemies out easily! Then they'll never know what kind of weakness I have.

[Oh no, this sounds like a waste of time. Please delete.]

Yeah, a catch phrase! Togame has to write about my battles and she said it was important that I had one.
Sion, do you have any catch phrases?

It's not really a catch phrase unless you time it correctly.

We're going to skip it then.
