Is the shopping place within walking distance?

[It takes her a moment but she gets the hint.]

Yes, it is. We will be dropped off a block before the hotel. You can manage to walk that far on your own, right?

[While sitting in the back of the taxi, her fingertips brush against the outside of Sion's leg.]

...try to order a bottle of champagne from the hotel when you get there and have it on ice.

[She shivers a bit but pretends to ignore that.]

Th-That sounds good. And do not worry. Finding the hotel is simple.

[It wasn't intentional. OR WAS IT?]

Assuming I can find what I n-need, I shouldn't be more than an hour and a half.

[Akiha bit her bottom lip and nodded, looking down a bit.]

[An awkward ride to the hotel. Sion is already thinking about how she's going to handle this exactly.]

[Surely made more awkward when Akiha decided to rest her hand down so it was against Sion's leg. But when they get to the shopping center...]

I'll... I'll be back soon. I hope there's no issue with the champagne. [she didn't know Egyptian drinking laws.]

[She's getting out of the car too and paying the cabbie.]

I know. [Out of the taxi and Akiha looks over what she can see in the shopping center. It's hard to tell what shop is for what being she couldn't read the signs, but she'd manage.]

[One wave before she left.

Sion only had a short walk back. Once she got there, she made sure she had a few proper materials. Like bubble bath stuff and proper blankets for the bed.]

[And champagne. Don't forget the champagne.

Akiha, on the other hand, wasted a good half an hour wandering around the shopping center looking to see what all was there and trying to calm her nerves. She kind of felt like she was going to throw up with the way her insides were all twisted up.

But she got it under control once she started buying things. Apparently retail therapy worked on her. Except when she had a hard time talking to the clerk in the one store given English wasn't either her or the clerk's primary language.

A bunch of bags and a confections box in hand, Akiha made her way back to the hotel. And she was only ten minutes later than she'd told Sion she would be.]

[Thankfully, in Egypt, since they're in a western style hotel, alcohol is easy to come by. And Sion, being 19, can purchase it.

In the meantime, a little before Akiha had arrived, Sion had filled the tub with piping hot water, put in the bubble bath, and turned on the whirlpool system. Yeah, that would be perfect.]

[This would be Akiha fumbling with the keycard for a moment before finally getting it open.]

...I'm back.

[Right when Sion was undressed and had a towel around herself. Whoops.]

O-One minute. I was not quite ready.

[She hurries over into the bathroom.]

I, um... have some things to--

[Frozen like a deer in the headlights when she caught that brief glimpse.]

[Slamming the bathroom door shut! Sorry, Akiha. For the moment...]

[ritsu_kouyou]

[Oh. That actually was helpful. The slamming of the door unfroze Akiha and she started to put the things from the bags away.

She lit a few candles up in the sleeping area of the room and sprinkled some rose petals on top of the bed. Her eyes moved to the closed bathroom door for a moment before she looked back at the bed. She narrowed her eyes a moment before tossing some more rose petals down - this time onto the floor in a light trail from the bed to the bathroom door. It looked ridiculous, but Sion had asked for it. Sort of.

Returning to her bags, she pulled out a couple small bottles of scented oil out and dabbed a little on each pillow... and behind her own ears. Then she took out two bundles wrapped in tissue paper with a ribbon tied about them - one ribbon purple, the other red. Her hands shook a bit as she looked at them and then at the bathroom door.]

S-Sion?

[computations]

[Now that she was in the water and thoroughly covered by bubbles, a lot of the hesitation in her voice is gone.]

I apologize. You can come in now.

[ritsu_kouyou]

Is the champagne in there with you?

[Looking around for it...]

Check the small refrigerator.

[Muffled a bit since she's in the bath with a whirlpool running.]

When you find it, you could....join me.

[She looks! She finds the bottle!]

Just a moment...

[Sion may hear the pop of the cork if she's listening. A little bit later, the bathroom door opens a crack. Akiha pauses a moment to take a deep breath before shouldering the door open enough to enter, open bottle and a pair of flutes in one hand and a small tray of chocolate covered cherries in her other balanced on top of the two tissue paper bundles.

She doesn't even look toward the whirlpool yet, turning to set things down on the sink counter before he dropped anything. Yes, she was still dressed.]

You certainly purchased a lot.

[Even if she looked, there wasn't much visible of Sion except her head. Her neck on down was buried in white bubbles. Sion set it up like that to reduce her own embarrassment. But because her clothes were folded up and her towel was rumpled on the floor by the tub.]
