Sion... Are you enjoying your time here in Japan, staying with us?

Of course I am. With your hospitality, I would find it difficult to not enjoy myself.

And if I'm not around as often? The new school year is beginning soon.

[She turns to face Sion, walking slowly backwards.] Asagami Academy is a boarding school...

I am aware. [Only slightly.]

If you are gone, though...

I don't have to stay in the dormitories; it is possible to commute.

...though I don't know if my roommates will survive without me. [And she would miss sharing a room with them no matter how much she may complain about them.]

While I do not wish to get in the way of you and your...roommates, I would still like to see you every so often.

I would be home on the weekends - after classes were done on Saturday and then all of Sunday.

[a pause] You would be there... right?

If you will be, you can count on me being there too. [She would arrange her schedule if she had too.]

[Akiha turns back around, falling into step beside Sion.]

I was worried that wouldn't be the case.

Why is that? [That's a surprising answer, to say the least.]

...it's a silly notion. Forget I said anything.

[Pink touched her cheeks and she looked down.]

I... I had the silly worry that without me there, you would just... go back to Egypt or somewhere else. Disappearing without word or explanation. And I wouldn't know when I'd see you again.

As long as you wish for me to be here, I will stay. My priorities are....a little different.

[Now Akiha is embarrassed she voiced that stupid, silly notion, so the flush stays.]

I thought your priorities were to your research, to find your cure.

[Which is why that silly thing had been in Akiha's mind. She didn't want to come home one weekend to find out Sion had been gone all week with no foreseeable return date...]

While I wish to do that, I also wish to maintain friendships...and other relationships.

Mm. Like Nii-san, I suppose.

[She didn't want to continue that line of conversation further either.]

[What 'other' relationship is Sion being on about? /dumb]

Hm. That's odd, I thought you...

[She trails off then into silence, looking down. Shiki was such a fragile subject.]

[Sion doesn't bother to respond. Instead, she looks elsewhere, pretending to be busy with whatever is going on in her mind. Which, for the record, was trying to forget about Akiha's relation to the previous conversation.]

[After a few moments of silence, Akiha looks up and sees where they are. She grabs Sion's hand and pulls her to the side.
